Calendars Calendars Calendars
(Preview)
We need 12 member's cars for calendar pictures. It would be preferred that they have not been in the calendar in the past, but even if you have you will be considered if there's otherwise not enough. I have an e-mail in to Jeff at Cutting Edge who has done them for us. Chris R has said he wants to help coordin...

What A Ride!
(Preview)
I blew a tire on my way home from the race track last night with my camper in tow. It happened so fast that I got pulled in the ditch at 70mph. The attached picture sort of tells the story. The car and camper sustained some damage but I was able to drive home after a nice young couple stopped to help. Me and my s...

RPM drop at idle-Carb issue?
(Preview)
The Chevelle is running great on the street. But... as I'm coming to a stop the rpm drops to about 600 rpm instead of the 900 rpm I have set the idle at. It acts like its running on 7 cylinders, then it will come back to idle right where it should. Blipping the throttle doesn't seem to have any effect. Som...

Lake Marion Collision

I stopped by Lake Marion Collision today for my regular job. I couldn't stay, but I did look in the shop area as I was passing through. I saw what looked to be a 57 chev under plastic sheeting, a 69 Chevelle, a muscle era MOPAR, and several in stages of diassembly that I couldn't identify. There was one body...

Just about to pull it out of the pump. Anyway to determine if the valve is bad? Anyone ever replace one of these? Are they included in...

Give me your thoughts guys and gals. As we get older we tend to want to go back to the way things were. I'm playing with the idea of taking the Elky back to it's origial color. Hello!
(Preview)
Hi folks! Since I joined the club in March, this introduction is long overdue. My name is John and I'm new to the club. I have a '66 SS in the garage that I've been chipping away at as time and money permit. It's not a numbers matching original, but it is an actual 138 car. This is pretty much my dream c...

How to tell a '69 SS vs. clone?
(Preview)
Derek, Jon, Chris (or others), what are the features of a true '69 SS Chevelle? I'm looking at a '69 and I'm sure it's a clone, but would like to know what badges, gauges, suspension, etc. an SS usually has. I know all the '70-72 differences, but not the '69's. Thanks, Stan

This is the Chevelle I saw at PanOProg last Friday night that was for sale. Anybody know who owns it or how to reach them? It's a '69 (I think) with a BBC, auto, buckets. I have some serious buyer interest on mine and might consider this as an option for the next one!
