Bowtie Brunch Question
(Preview)
Anyone have two extra chairs that Shannan and I could use at Karl's? All of ours are snowed in the shed. I move them out of the garage when it isn't car/baseball/socccer season. I forgot about the whole chair thing until I re-read the post this morning to get the directions.

Did I make a mistake on re-installing Timing sprocket and Chain? And do these #'s on the cam tell anything?
(Preview)
Didn't read the books first, so I didn't line up the dots on the sprockets when I removed the timing chain. Is there something to do to make sure it is back together correctly? Also, I now think the cam may not be original. Do the numbers on the front of the cam mean anything? I didn't pull it out all the wa...

Valve setting EOIC vs. 'Motor Daddy' method
(Preview)
I'm prepping for setting the valves when the heads are done (been awhile since I've done this), and found this post on TC. Anyone ever try the 'Motor Daddy' method vs. EOIC (Exhaust Open, Intake Closed) method (seems a lot easier than keeping track of which cylinders are done and which ones aren't usi...

The headlights go on & off, and best of all, the "Panic" function engages...

Front disc swap advice needed

I have a set up that I bought for my '67 GTO that includes a hold-off valve for the discs. I was under the impression that it fuctioned as a proportioning valve and was all I need for a swap. What's your opinion on re-using head bolts? Worth spending the $ for peace of mind or am I taking this too far?
