Drive home from meeting
(Preview)
Hope everyone made it home safe today. The roads really were very slick. I told my wife it looked like we had twice as much as Mounds View and I was proven right by the weatherman. There was a narrow band that passed thru and dumped much more snow on parts of the southwest metro on a line to Stillwater.

Hope to answer an old question on collector plates.
(Preview)
Recently someone asked me if I knew what the law was regarding collector plates. Well since I haven't worked traffic since 1972 (and never really did then since I was a lead foot and didn't want to be a hypocrite) I thought I would research it. There has always been confusion on this and I, as you, have...

New Eckler's Christmas Catalog
(Preview)
Got their new catalog today. They have some cool 100 year commemorative shirts, tin and neon signs. If I was rich, I could drop 2-3k in a heartbeat... Oh and they do have a few car parts too, but not many. Mostly apparel, collectibles and garage art.

Why I hate Barret Jackson and other Auctions

I refuse to watch these idiot auctions that have the top names build custom 1 off cars. Along with the purist #s matching crowd that deduct points for not having the correct air in the tires. Sad News - Neighbor died tonight.
(Preview)
Got a call about an hour ago. My next-door neighbor (to the north) Tom died tonight. He had two surgeries this week and just didn't have it in him to fight it out anymore... His health has been poor for the last few years, and we've kinda adopted them (Tom & Shirley) - doing fixit jobs, yardwork, etc....
