Can I replace my Silveradio 1500 inside manual rear-view mirror with a self dimming mirror?

Picked up the new 1500 yesterday. Aboslutley hate the manual dimming mirror. I new the truck had the non power folding non blinking outside mirrors; but didn't realize the also subsituted a manual inside rearview mirror. I was thinking that maybe a salvage mirror out of a previous year would work....
