Good timing light recommendations

This weekend my timing light leaked out all the wire smoke inside and no longer works. Voltage was good at 14.4 at alternator, so it was an overcharged voltage, just a cheaper timing light meeting it's end. So what are some good timing lights?

I'm going to build a 10 X 8' floating deck using a concrete pier system. Anybody use these piers before? Can I replace my Silveradio 1500 inside manual rear-view mirror with a self dimming mirror?

Picked up the new 1500 yesterday. Aboslutley hate the manual dimming mirror. I new the truck had the non power folding non blinking outside mirrors; but didn't realize the also subsituted a manual inside rearview mirror. I was thinking that maybe a salvage mirror out of a previous year would work....
