Will a 8.5" posi work in an 8.2" carrier?
(Preview)
Are they interchangeable? I found a used 8.5" ring gear posi for $200, but I'm pretty sure I have an 8.2" ring gear in my 10 bolt, so I'm guessing they won't work together. Anyone know?

For those contemplating owning a "summer home/cabin"....

Rent. We've been on borrowed time with the existing well. 25 years and it has seen it's service live. It had failed several times in the last few months, and finally had to be replaced. $4100 to the local well drilling outfit, and I've got better, cleaner, and much more reliable water service... But - Re...

Sold my 1970 Camaro on Ebay!!
(Preview)
Guy is in Illinois and is legit. I got my asking price! Was happy that I made $3K over my costs! Better than losing or breaking even like on my 1971. I think at $21K it did well for a clone/tribute car and it brought Chevelle money. Not sure what I am doing next. Going to take my time and look for a good pr...

Last week at the GTO show Kevin asked me why I had a vinyl matt in my trunk. I said how else can you get the floor to rust quickly.
