Horn issues with the horn rim on the steering wheel, contact only happen when I push of the left side.
(Preview)
I think the system used for the horn on the steering wheel is somewhat the same on 64-67 chevelles. When I push of the left side of the horn ring the horn works. When I push on the bottom or right side, it doesn't work. I have taken apart and cleaned. If I just hold that thin washer that makes contact with t...

'69 window crank spring question??
(Preview)
I have the interior apart on my '69 to adjust the windows. I was looking at a post on Team Chevelle tonight and it said there were window crank springs only on the front window cranks, not the rear quarters window cranks. Does anyone know if this is correct? I think the '69 through '72 are all the same....

Ok not so much a sighting as I finally stopped at a house around the corner that I knew had a 66 chevelle in the garage. Was out driving the 55 and saw that his garage was open so I stopped in to talk cars. It is a 138 car with a 454 and th400 in it. Red with black vinyl top and white interior. Nice looking car was ap...

Great day for a dyno
(Preview)
Came back to Nebraska for a grad party and to check out the Hot Rod Super Nationals in Lincoln. It rained most of yesterday morning, and it just happened that a Camaro buddy of mine's engine builder called him Friday afternoon and said he had his 383 ready to dyno. So, my buddy and I went to breakfast at t...

Braided stainless oil lines . . .
(Preview)
As some of you know, I bought a '66 Malibu with a big block last summer. I changed the oil for the first time about a week ago and ran into a problem. The oil pan has kickouts on the sides for more capacity. When I removed the filter, it got as far as the kickout and between that and the headers, there was no room...

1966 Chevelle Sheet Metal

This winter we did not get anything done on the Chevelle beside stripping the frame and building a frame cart so it can easily be rolled under the body which is on the rotisserie, but its time to get going on it again. I spoke with one of the guys at car craft and I think I remember him saying that there are som...

Need some wheel/tire help
(Preview)
I am currently running 275 x 60 x 15 rear tires on 7 x 15 wheels. As you can see on the attached photo the rear sidewalls really have to roll in to meet the wheels. I am looking for a more straight look as on the front tires/wheels. Will an 8" wheel get me to where I want to be? Does anyone have a photo o...

71 -72 SS Wheel ?
(Preview)
The trim rings I have are dinged up with curb rash here and there and the center caps have faded bowties and a few dings. Any recommendation on which aftermarket center caps and trim rings to buy? I'm more interested in the quality of the parts versus being exact replicas of the originals.

Straight dual exhaust or H Pipe?

Lots of opinions on this out there, but I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on an exhaust system, and not sure which way to go. There is about a $50 difference in price between the two.
