Time for "Blackie" to get a new set of shoes. (I'm never going to wear out the Blizzaks on him now, and I'd like to take benefit of the suspension upgrades I've done) Looking for a decent performance street tire, they don't have to be super-sticky, but a good blend of stick and wear. Ideas?

Thought this was interesting... especially for those who store their cars more than 1/2 a year - like when you live in MN.

I ran in to Brad W., Terry D., Bob L., Tom B., Chris P., Hank M., Mark Z. and other club members I now I am forgetting as the GM show today. I had a good chance to see up close Brad's '57 build. I saw lots of photos during the build but they don't do the final project justice, it is one beautiful car. To top off the d...

I have always thought this intake setup was the coolest thing back in the day. Granted this the Edelbrock copy of the GM design but also not near as expensive as a GM version. Not the best for street driving either but I think the cool factor will make it all worth while. Plan is to install this on the chevel...

If you missed today's meeting, you missed another great event. I'll tell and show all the juicy details in the upcoming newsletter, but we met a MASTER of his craft today. I don't think anyone who was there today could argue against that statement. It was difficult to absorb the layout and listen to him...

I went to the opening night of this years Friday night car shows in St. Francis yesterday. There were over 150 cars and I ran into two other NCC members. Hi everyone, I got an email from a gentleman who stumbled on a 1983 El Camino in a backyard and was wondering if it is worth restoring. I told him that is a tough question to answer without seeing the car, but that I'd post it here in case someone had words of wisdom for him. Any help you may have would be appr...

I'm on the road this weekend with the band and found this car sitting out back of a truck stop in Wisconsin. The massive rear spoiler caught my eye so I had to check it out. It didn't have any badges and I'm not sure what model it is,but it had a trunk full of tires. I couldnt get a good picture of the interior,...

Has anyone found a good source for control arm bushings? I'm looking for uppers, lowers, front and back packaged in a kit. Not going auto-crossing, just want something for a stable ride. I've reached the saturation point, the more I look the more brain dead I go.

I am looking for a 1964 Chevelle SS trunk lid. It appears no one repops them at this time. In looking for a used one are they the same for 1964 and 1965? Also are the 1964 trunk lids the same size for the coupe and the 4 door sedan? Thanks.

Did the frames change with the different generation Chevelle's? Or, are the frames 64-67 then 69-99 then 70-72? Reason for the question. Will a 69 Chevelle go on a 65 'A' body frame?
